Biographie

Originally assembled to be the backing band to Al Krivoy, Al quickly realized that the 3 young men behind him where really the attraction people came to see. The 3 young delinquents who were backing this rockabilly vocalist soon went on to further the legacy with out Al at the mic. All the while keeping the original band name in tacked. Al & the Black Cats was born, playing a mix between the rockabilly they had intended to play and the Punk rock they were raised to make. They quickly recorded and started touring. In there first 12 months they release 2 albums "The Fabulous Rockabilly Sounds of" & "Shakin' At the Knees" toured in over 15 different countries and won over thousands of fans. the next year saw the release of there 3rd album "Givin' Um Something To Rock n' Roll About" on german Punk/Oi! label Sunny Bastards. with much touring following this release the band was busier then ever. prompting original Bass Player and Singer Eric Soules to throw in the towel mid tour. he will be sorely missed but at this point the band is stronger then ever. with plans for a new album released in 2010 on American, Canadian, European & Japanese Record labels. and tours supporting the label in all those places. things are looking up for Al & the Black Cats. and this will certainly not be the last you hear of them
